AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH CALIFORNIA
GOLF CENTERS, INC. FOR GOLF PROFESSIONAL AND RELATED
SERVICES AT THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSES
WHEREAS, on August 8, 1984, this Council entered into an
agreement with California Golf Centers, Inc. for Golf Professional
and related services on the Alameda Municipal Golf Courses; and
WHEREAS, the City is a party to an Agreement dated February
15, 1983, under which Golden Bear Equipment Vehicles, Inc. pro-
vides golf carts for use on a rental basis at Alameda's golf
courses; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of all parties that
the Golf Professional maintain golf carts on the Courses; and
WHEREAS, the transfer of this responsibility necessitates
a new agreement between the City and the Golf Professional; and
WHEREAS, the Council is informed and aware of the contents
of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Mayor be, and she is hereby, authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Alameda that
certain agreement between the City and California Golf Centers,
Inc. for Golf Professional and related services at the Alameda
Municipal Golf Courses. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to
attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th of June, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas and Acting President Monsef - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: President Diament - 1.
