AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH PACIFIC
BELL FOR INSTALLATION OF COMMUNICATION FACILITIES
FOR HARBOR BAY PARKWAY EXTENSION, PHASE 3,
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84-4
WHEREAS, the approved plans and specifications for Harbor
Bay Parkway Extension, Phase 3, Assessment District 84-4, include
installation of communication facilities within the public
right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, California Public Utility Commission regulations
require that Pacific Bell provide installation of some of these
facilities; and
WHEREAS, Pacific Bell has agreed to allow the City to
construct the facilities and will reimburse the City after the
work has been completed; and
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement with Pacific Bell has been
presented to this Council and the Council is fully informed of
the terms and conditions thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby
authorized and directed to execute, for and on behalf of the
City, that certain agreement referred to above by and between
Pacific Bell and the City of Alameda for the Installation of
Communication Facilities for Harbor Bay Parkway Extension, Phase
3, Assessment District 84-4. The City Clerk is hereby directed
to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd of July, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
