Resolution 10680CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10680 APPROVING EAST BAY REGIONAL PARK DISTRICT PLAN FOR SOUTH SHORE BEACH SAND REPLENISHMENT PHASE IV PROJECT WHEREAS, the East Bay Regional Park District has applied for additional grant monies from the State Department of Boating and Waterways for the South Shore Beach Sand Replenishment Project, Phase IV, which will include improvement of the area primarily between Grand Street and Kitty Hawk Road, extension of existing groins and additional landscaping improvements; and WHEREAS, a State grant would require matching funds which would be shared equally by the City and the Park District; and WHEREAS, the Tideland Trust Fund contains sufficient monies to fund the City's share of the cost of Phase IV; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the South Shore Beach Sand Replenishment Project, Phase IV is hereby approved; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that there is hereby appropriated from the Tideland Trust Fund the sum of $82,000 for Phase IV of said Project.
