AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AMENDED HOVERMARINE
DEMONSTRATION AGREEMENT WITH HARBOR BAY ISLE
ASSOCIATES, TO INCLUDE STANDARD CONTRACT CLAUSES
CONTAINED IN UMTA CIRCULAR .4220.1A
WHEREAS, by its Resolution 10637 adopted on June 4, 1985,
this Council authorized execution of an agreement with Harbor Bay
Isle Associates setting forth terms and conditions for the
application of federal assistance grant funds in connection with
a high -speed water transportation demonstraction, and
WHEREAS, it has been requested that said agreement be
amended to incorporate language contained in Urban Mass
Transportation Act Circular .4220.1A;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
and the City Clerk to attest to, for and on behalf of the City of
Alameda, that certain amended Hovermarine Demonstration Agreement
referred to above between Harbor Bay Isle Associates amd the City
of Alameda for the application of federal assistance grant funds
in connection with a high -speed water transportation
demonstration.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th of August, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
