AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONSENT TO LICENSE BY
ALAMEDA GATEWAY, LTD. IN FAVOR OF NORTHERN
CALIFORNIA POWER AGENCY FOR PURPOSES OF INGRESS
AND EGRESS
WHEREAS, a portion of the access strip for the Northern
California Power Agency (NCPA) turbo generator site runs through
a small portion of the leasehold portion of the Alameda Gateway
project; and
WHEREAS, Alameda Gateway is willing to grant a License to
NCPA for ingress and egress purposes which will be ultimately
converted to an easement when the project is further along; and
WHEREAS, said License requires approval by the City as
lessor of the property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
for and on behalf of the City of Alameda a Consent to License by
Alameda Gateway, Ltd. in favor of NCPA for purposes of ingress
and egress.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th of August, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
