AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF AN OPEN-SPACE EASEMENT
TO THE CITY OF ALAMEDA FROM ALAMEDA MARINA VILLAGE
ASSOCIATES
WHEREAS, a certain Easement (74-906-15-6) dated January
5, 1983, granted by Alameda Marina Village Associates, a
California limited partnership, by Vintage Properties-Alameda
Commercial, General Partner, to the City of Alameda for
approximately eighteen acres of land in the Oakland-Alameda
Estuary, consisting of an open water area that will be preserved
in permanent open space, has been executed and delivered by the
Grantor to the City; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City that said
Easement be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the aforementioned Easement granted by Alameda
Marina Village Associates to the City of Alameda for open space
is hereby accepted on behalf of the City of Alameda, and said
Council, acting for and on behalf of said City, hereby consents
to the recordation of said Easement and orders this resolution to
be attached thereto, as required by Section 27281 of the
Government Code of the State of California.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day of August, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diarnent - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
