DECLARING COPIES OF THE UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE,
1982 EDITION, PLACED ON FILE WITH THE CITY CLERK
TO BE PUBLIC RECORDS; SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE
OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE ADOPTION OF SAID CODE BY
REFERENCE; AND DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE
OF SAID HEARING
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that
the Uniform Plumbing Code, 1982 Edition, by the International
Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, with
amendments, additions and deletions thereto, as the Primary Code,
three certified copies of which were this day placed on file with
the City Clerk, is hereby declared to be public records and
available for public inspection; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing on the
adoption of said Code as the Alameda Plumbing Code by reference
to said documents filed with the City Clerk as public records is
hereby scheduled to be held in the Council Chamber of the City
Hall on Tuesday, the 1st day of October, 1985, at the hour of
7 :30 p.m.; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby
directed to cause notice of said hearing to be published in the
official newspaper for two successive weeks with at least five
days intervening between said respective publication dates. Such
notice shall state the time and place of the hearing and that
copies of the Alameda Plumbing Code being considered for adoption
are on file with the City Clerk and are open to public inspection
and shall further comply with the requirements of Section 50022.3
of the Government Code of California.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in special meeting assembled on the 10th day of September, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
