AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO AN
AGREEMENT WITH BISSELL & KARN, INC. ENGINEERS,
FOR DESIGN OF HARBOR BAY PARKWAY, PHASE 3,
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84-4
WHEREAS, on June 4, 1985, by its Resolution No. 10634,
this Council authorized the execution of an agreement with
Bissell & Karn, Inc. Engineers for the design of Phase III Harbor
Bay Parkway; and
WHEREAS, said agreement was modified on August 20, 1985
to include a "record access" clause as required by the Economic
Development Administration; and
WHEREAS, changes in the design of Harbor Bay Parkway have
been approved to provide for widening of the median, addition of
a left-turn pocket and landscaping; and
WHEREAS, said changes necessitate an amendment to the
agreement with Bissell & Karn, Inc. Engineers to provide for a
modification in the scope of work and a change order on the
existing work;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and each hereby
is, authorized and directed to execute and to attest to,
respectively, on behalf of the City, an Amendment to the
:\ Agreement between the City and Bissell & Karn, Inc. for Design
of Harbor Bay Parkway, Phase 3, Assessment District 84-4.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 1st of October, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
