Resolution 10753CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10753 AUTHORIZING OPEN MARKET PURCHASE OF A SERVICE VEHICLE FOR THE RECREATION DIVISION OF THE RECREATION AND PARKS DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, funds are available in the 1985-86 Equipment Replacement budget for the acquisition of A Pickup Truck for the Recreation Division of the Recreation and Parks Department; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that purchase on the open market of the truck best suited for its intended use would result in considerable savings to the City; and WHEREAS, competitive prices have been obtained and the lowest and best bid was received from Morris Landy Ford in the amount of $9,003.17 for a Ford Ranger Pickup truck. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that pursuant to Section 3-15 of the City Charter the Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to act as the representative of the City in the purchase of said Pickup Truck for the Recreation Division. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of October, 1985, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
