AUTHORIZING EXTENSION OF AGREEMENT WITH SIGHT
AND INSIGHT FOR SUBLEASE OF ROOM 108 OF THE MASTICK
SENIOR CENTER COMPLEX
WHEREAS, Sight and Insight, a nonprofit corporation, has
been subleasing Room 108 of the Mastick Senior Center Complex
since October 1981 and its use of the room has been consistent
with City policies and programs; and
WHEREAS, Sight and Insight desires to renew this sublease
for another year; and
WHEREAS, current lack of funds precludes development of
this room for senior activities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Agreement between the City of Alameda and
Sight and Insight for sublease of Room 108 of the Mastick Senior
Center Complex, authorized by Resolution 10474 on November 6,
1984, is hereby renewed for a one-year term.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except for the term of said
agreement, all conditions shall continue to be in full force and
effect and binding upon the parties.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of October, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers. Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
