AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF BOATING AND
WATERWAYS FOR IMPROVEMENT OF FACILITIES AT THE
ALAMEDA BOAT RAMP AND FISHING FACILITY
WHEREAS, the City has received a grant from the State of
California Department of Boating and Waterways for Improvements
to the Restroom Facilities at the Alameda Fishing and Boating
Access; and
WHEREAS, a Construction and Operation Contract for this
project has been submitted by the Department of Boating and
Waterways and it is in the best of interests of the City that
said contract be entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
said Construction and Operation Contract on behalf of the City of
-- -2\ Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of October, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers, Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
