AWARDING CONTRACT TO ANCHOR FENCE COMPANY OF SAN
LEANDRO FOR FENCING MIF ALBRIGHT PAR 3 GOLF COURSE
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for Proposals for Construction of
Fencing of Mif Albright Par 3 Golf Course in accordance with
Request for Proposals approved August 6, 1985; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed proposal was
submitted by Anchor Fence Company of San Leandro agreeing to
perform said work in accordance with said Request for Proposal
for the sum of $19,267.00; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Proposal of Anchor Fence Company of San
Leandro is hereby accepted, the contract for Construction of
Fencing of Mif Albright Par 3 Golf Course is hereby awarded to
said bidder, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and
the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of
Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of October, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
