Resolution 10776CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10776
AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACT
FOR THE SWIMMING POOL REHABILITATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Alameda Unified School District heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Swimming Pool Renovation at
the Alameda and Encinal Swim Centers in accordance with
Specifications and Plans prepared therefore; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by John J. Martin, an individual doing business as
Martin Pool Repair & Construction, agreeing to perform said work
in accordance with said Specifications for the base bid sum of
$483,500; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Martin Pool Repair & Construction is
hereby accepted, the contract for Swimming Pool Renovation at the
Alameda and Encinal Swim Centers is hereby awarded to said
bidder, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the
City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of
Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th of November, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
