AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY AND SCHOOL
DISTRICT REGARDING MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION
OF THE ALAMEDA AND ENCINAL SWIM CENTERS
WHEREAS, a proposed agreement between the City of Alameda
and the Alameda Unified School District relating to the
maintenance and operation of the Alameda and Encinal Swim Centers
has been submitted to this Council and the Council is fully
informed and aware of the terms and conditions thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Alameda that said agreement be entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute, for and on behalf of the City, that certain agreement
referred to above between the City and the AUSD for the
maintenance and operation of the Alameda and Encinal Swim
Centers. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th of November, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 3.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmembers Corica and Hanna - 2.
