AWARDING CONTRACT TO GATEWAY LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84-4,
LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS, HARBOR BAY BUSINESS PARK,
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Construction of Assessment
District 84-4, Landscape Improvements, Parcel 3, Parcel Map No.
4507, Harbor Bay Business Park, in accordance with Specifications
No. P.W. 7-85-22 approved October 15, 1985; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Gateway Landscape Construction agreeing to
perform said work in accordance with said Specifications for the
sum of $218,596.00; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Gateway Landscape Construction is
N hereby accepted, the contract for Construction of Assessment
District 84-4, Landscape Improvements, Harbor Bay Business Park,
is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is hereby
authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said
contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th of November, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: ;none.
