AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONDUIT AGREEMENT WITH
PACIFIC BELL FOR EXTENSION OF EXISTING
COMMUNICATION FACILITIES FOR MARINA VILLAGE
PARKWAY/ INDEPENDENCE DRIVE
WHEREAS, in conjunction with the Assessment District
84-3, Marina Village Parkway and Independence Drive project, the
City has requested that Pacific Bell extend its existing
communication facilities by extending its common service
connections as set forth in a proposed agreement between the City
and Pacific Bell; and
WHEREAS, said proposed agreement has been submitted to
the City and the Council is fully informed and aware of the
contents thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and each hereby is,
authorized to execute and to attest to, respectively, on behalf
z , of the City, an agreement with Pacific Bill for the construction
and extension of its existing communication facilities for Marina
' Village Parkway/Independence Drive.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th of November, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
