AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO SERVICE
CONTRACT WITH GEORGE HILLS COMPANY, INC. FOR
LIABILITY CLAIMS ADJUSTING AND ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, on November 20, 1984, the City of Alameda
authorized execution of a service contract with George Hills
Company, Inc. for the purpose of providing supervision and
administration of the City's Liability Self-insurance Program;
WHEREAS, an amendment to said agreement has been prepared
and submitted to the Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the City Manager be and hereby is authorized to
execute, and the City Clerk to attest to, on behalf of the City,
an amendment to the agreement heretofore entered into between the
City of Alameda and George Hills Company, Inc. for general
liability claims adjusting and administration services, said
amendment to reflect minor increases in telephone and
photographic expenses and a one-year contract extension of said
agreement, to commence December 1, 1985 and terminate on
