AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH EAST BAY
MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT FOR INSTALLATION OF
PRIVATE FIRE SERVICES AND WATER SERVICES WITHIN
HARBOR BAY BUSINESS PARK, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84 -4
WHEREAS, this Council has previously authorized creation
of underground utility facilities within the public rights of
way of Assessment District 84 -4; and
WHEREAS, private fire service facilities are required at
eight locations with the public rights of way in Harbor Bay
Business Park for protection of the adjacent buildings and a
application for construction of said facilities has been
submitted by the East Bay Municipal Utility Districts and
WHEREAS, East Bay Municipal Utility District also
requires an agreement to install laterals for water services to
the Assessment District property line,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and each hereby is,
authorized to execute and to attest to, respectively, on behalf
of the City, agreements with the East Bay Municipal Utility
District for installation of private fire services and water
services within Harbor Bay Business Park, Assessment District
84 -4.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd of December, 1985,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
