AWARDING CONTRACT TO AMBO CONCRETE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF WHEELCHAIR RAMPS, PHASE 4, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Construction of Wheelchair
Ramps, Phase 4, in accordance with Specifications No P.W.
11 -85 -35 approved December 17, 1985; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Ambo Concrete agreeing to perform said work in
accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $6,835.00,
and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Ambo Concrete is hereby accepted, the
contract for Construction of Wheelchair Ramps, Phase 4, is hereby
awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of
the City of Alameda.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 21st of January, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament -
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
