Resolution 10811CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10811 ACCEPTING EASEMENTS FROM PACIFIC SHOPS, INCORPORATED, FOR PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS WHEREAS, the Bureau of Electricity will be extending a new submarine cable across the Oakland - Alameda Estuary to replace an existing cable; and WHEREAS, an easement for two parcels of land are required for land portions of the proposed submarine cable crossing; and WHEREAS, Pacific Shops, Inc. has offered to grant to the City for said crossing an easement for a .286 acre parcel and a .00918 acre parcel, as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the aforesaid Grant of Easement, granted by Pacific Shops, Inc. to the City of Alameda, Bureau of Electricity, for public utility purposes, is hereby accepted on behalf of the City of Alameda and said Council, acting for and on behalf of said City hereby consents to the recordation of said Grant of Easement and orders this resolution to be attached thereto, as required by Section 217281 of the Government Code of the State of California.
