AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH PACIFIC
GAS AND ELECTRIC CO. FOR EXTENSION OF GAS SERVICE
FOR MARINA VILLAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84 -3,
PROJECT #3, MARINA VILLAGE PARKWAY, CHALLENGER
DRIVE AND ATLANTIC AVENUE
WHEREAS, a contract for the construction of Marina
Village Parkway, Challenger Drive and Atlantic Avenue, Project
#3, Assessment District 84 -3, was awarded on October 15, 1985;
and
WHEREAS, the services of Pacific Gas and Electric Company
are required to provide for gas main extension and trench
inspection from P.G. &E's existing gas main to Marina Village
Parkway, Challenger Drive and Atlantic Avenue, and
WHEREAS, agreements to provide these services have been
submitted to the City and the Council is fully informed and aware
of the contents thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the City Manager and City Clerk be, and each
hereby is, authorized to execute and to attest to, respectively,
on behalf of the City, said agreements for extension of existing
gas facilities for Marina Village Parkway, Challenger Drive and
Atlantic Avenue.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of February, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
