AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH PACIFIC
BELL FOR EXTENSION OF EXISTING COMMUNICATION
FACILITIES FOR MARINA VILLAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
84 -3, PROJECT #3, MARINA VILLAGE PARKWAY,
CHALLENGER DRIVE AND ATLANTIC AVENUE
WHEREAS, in conjunction with Marina Village Assessment
District 84 -3, Project #3, Marina Village Parkway, Challenger
Drive and Atlantic Avenue, the City has requested that Pacific
Bell extend its existing communication facilities by extending
its common service connections as set forth in a proposed
agreement between the City and Pacific Bell; and
WHEREAS, said proposed agreement has been submitted to
the City and the Council is fully informed and aware of the
contents thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and each hereby is,
authorized to execute and to attest to, respectively, on behalf
of the City, an agreement with Pacific Bill for the construction
and extension of its existing communication facilities for
Marina Village Assessment District 84 -3, Project #3, Marina
Village Parkway, Challenger Drive and Atlantic Avenue.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of February, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
