AWARDING CONTRACT TO GATEWAY CONSTRUCTION FOR
RENOVATION OF THE KRUSI PARK "TOT LOT" AND
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
authorized open market negotiation for the Renovation of the
Krusi Park "Tot Lot" in accordance with Specifications No P.W.
8- 85 -26, approved September 3, 1985; and
WHEREAS, in response to said negotiation a proposal was
submitted by Gateway Construction agreeing to perform said work
in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of $37,420.00;
and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best received,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the proposal of Gateway Construction is hereby
accepted, the contract for Renovation of the Krusi Park "Tot Lot"
is hereby awarded to said firm, and the Mayor is hereby
authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said
contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of February, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
