APPROVING TENTATIVE MAP FOR TRACT 5527, A SUBDIVISION
OF APPROXIMATELY 5.6 ACRES ON BAY FARM ISLAND,
FINDING SAID TENTATIVE MAP CONSISTENT WITH THE CITY'S
GENERAL PLAN AND DETERMINING THAT DISCHARGE OF WASTE
WATER INTO SEWER SYSTEM WILL NOT VIOLATE REGIONAL
WATER QUALITY CONTROL REGULATIONS (LIGHTHOUSE COVE,
PULTE HOME CORPORATION, SUBDIVIDER)
WHEREAS, Pulte Home Corporation, subdivider herein, has
presented to the Council for approval a Tentative Map for Tract
5527, a subdivision of approximately 5.6 acres of land located
south of Oleander Avenue, north of Catalina Avenue and between
Holly Street and Melrose Avenue, commonly known as Lighthouse
Cove; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, on April 1, 1986, held a
public hearing on said Tentative Map;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that pursuant to Section 11 -3112 of the Alameda
Municipal Code, the Tentative Map for Tract 5527, heretofore
accepted and approved by the Planning Board on February 10, 1986,
is hereby approved, based upon the findings and subject to the
conditions contained in City of Alameda Planning Board Resolution
No 1577, and the condition that no homes shall be constructed in
Airport Safety Zone B, and that a maximum of forty (40)
residential lots shall be allowed on the remainder of the Project
site.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Section
11- 3112(f) of the Alameda Municipal Code the City Council hereby
finds the Tentative Map for Tract 5527 is consistent with the
City's General Plan, and pursuant to Section 11- 3112(h)
determines that discharge of waste from the subdivision into the
sewer system will not violate regional water quality control
regulations.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 1st of April, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 4.
NOES: Councilmember Corica - 1.
ABSENT: None.
