CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 10875
AWARDING CONTRACT TO THERMAL EQUIPMENT INC. OF
GODDARD, KANSAS FOR A SIGN MAKING MACHINE AND
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for a Street Sign Maker in
accordance with Specifications No. MSP 3-86-2 approved March 4,
1986; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Thermal Equipment Inc. of Goddard, Kansas agreeing
to furnish a Sign Making Machine in accordance with said
Specifications for the sum of $10,158.75; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Thermal Equipment, Inc. is hereby
accepted, the contract for furnishing to the City of Alameda one
street sign maker for the Public Works Department is hereby
awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of
the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of April, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Counci:lmembers Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Corica - 1.
