AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH
KENT WATSON & ASSOCIATES, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS,
FOR IMPROVEMENTS AT KRUSI PARK
WHEREAS, it has become necessary that the City develop
plans and specifications for Replacement of Backstops and Fencing at
Softball Fields, Krusi Park, and Replacement of Complete Pathway
System, Krusi Park; and
WHEREAS, the consultant's fee for developing accurate cost
estimates, technical specifications, bid documents, and providing
project supervision for these specific projects, as negotiated with
Kent Watson & Associates, is $3830; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of City of Alameda
that an agreement be entered into with Kent Watson & Associates for
professional services in developing said plans and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the proposal of Kent Watson & Associates is hereby
accepted and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for, and on behalf of, the City an agreement with Kent
Watson & Associates for professional services relating to the above
improvements at Krusi Park at a total fee of $3830. The City Clerk
is hereby directed to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th of May, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament -
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
