REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION
OF STREET DIRECTORIES AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS ON PARK
STREET, P.W. 2-86-3
WHEREAS, on March 18, 1986 this Council adopted Plans
and Specifications P.W. 2-86-30 and called for bids for the
project, Fabrication and Installation of Street Directories at
Various Locations on Park Street; and
WHEREAS, three qualified bids were submitted in amounts
higher than the Designer's Estimate; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that modifications to the
Plans and Specifications could result in lower bids;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that said Council hereby rejects all bids received and
opened on April 3, 1986, in response to its call for bids for
Fabrication and Installation of Street Directories at Various
Locations on Park Street; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Council hereby
authorizes and directs the revision of said Plans and Specifica-
tions.

City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th of May, 1986,
