REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CROSSWALKS
AT PARK STREET, FROM CENTRAL AVENUE TO SANTA CLARA
AVENUE, P.W. 3 -86 -4
WHEREAS, on March 18, 1986 this Council adopted Plans
and Specifications P.W. 3 -86 -4 and called for bids for the
project, Construction of Crosswalks at Park Street, from Central
Avenue to Santa Clara Avenue; and
WHEREAS, three bids were submitted in amounts higher than
the Engineer's Estimate; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that modifications to the
Plans and Specifications could result in lower bids;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that said Council hereby rejects all bids received and
opened on April 3, 1986, in response to its call for bids for
the Construction of Crosswalks at Park Street, from Central
Avenue to Santa Clara Avenue; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Council hereby
authorizes and directs the revision of said Plans and Specifica-
tions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th of May, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
