ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT VEHICLES,
CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, Specifications have been prepared for the
purchase of four (4) passenger vehicles for the Police Department,
numbered MSP 5-86-1, and filed in the Office of the City Clerk of
N,s. May 6, 1986; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds availabale in the
'C Equipment Replacement Fund to provide for this procurement.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
: Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:01 a.m. on
Tuesday, May 20. 1986, for furnishing to the City four (4)
passenger vehicles for the Police Department, in accordance with
said Specifications. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk in
the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly
marked on the outside, "Proposal for Law Enforcement Vehicles,
MSP 5-86-1", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the
provisions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the
responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right
is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said specifications may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Clerk, at the Office of the City Clerk
City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the
Alameda Times Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance
with the provisions of this resolution and of said specifications.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th of May, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
