AWARDING CONTRACT FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT MOTORCYCLES
TO BOB DRON /HARLEY - DAVIDSON MOTORCYCLES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for two motorcycles for law
enforcement use, in accordance with Specifications No. MSP 3 -86 -1,
approved on March 4, 1986; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Bob Dron /Harley- Davidson Motorcycles, Inc. agreeing to
furnish said motorcycles in accordance with said Specifications for
the sum of $13,125.20; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its proposal
is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Alameda that the bid of Bob Dron/ Harley - Davidson Motorcycles, Inc. is
hereby accepted, the contract for purchase of two motorcycles for law
enforcement use is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is
hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said
contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th of May, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
