AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
WITH KENT WATSON & ASSOCIATES, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS, FOR
REPAVING OF THE GOLF COURSE PUBLIC PARKING LOT
WHEREAS, it has become necessary that the City develop
plans and specifications for the repaving of the Golf Course Public
Parking Lot; and
WHEREAS, the parking lot currently has deteriorated to such
an extent that it needs to be graded, a new drainage system designed
and installed, and the lot repaved; and
WHEREAS, the consultant's fee for developing accurate cost
estimates, technical specifications, bid documents, and providing
project supervision will be $6900, as negotiated with Kent Watson &

. 3 Associates, Landscape Architects, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Alameda
that an agreement be entered into with Kent Watson & Associates for
its services in developing said plans and specifications,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the proposal of Kent Watson & Associates is hereby
accepted and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for, and on behalf of, the City an agreement with Kent
Watson & Associates for its professional services relating to the
repaving of the Golf Course Public Parking Lot at a cost of $6900,
with the project cost to be funded from the Golf Course Enterprise
Fund. The City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th of May, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 4.
NOES: Councilmember Corica - 1.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
