RESOLUTION N0. 10921
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO MAKE CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
MARINA VILLAGE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 84 -3
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Alameda, County of
Alameda, California, that the public interest, convenience and necessity
require, and that it is the intention of this Council to make the following
changes and modifications in the proceedings under and pursuant to
Resolution of Intention No. 10421, adopted by this Council on August 21,
1984, to wit:
a) Increase of the total assessment in said proceedings as finally
approved from $38,000,000 to $40,000,000;
b) Increase and decrease in individual assessments as set forth in
the Reassessment Report on file in the Office of the City Clerk of this
City, said report having been prepared pursuant to the Resolution of
Intention to Levy Reassessments and to Issue Refunding Bonds upon the
Security Thereof, adopted June 3, 1986, by this Council;
c) Amend the City Cooperation Agreement by and among the City of
Alameda, Alameda Marina Village Associates and Alameda Marina Center
Associates, dated December 18, 1984, to increase the authorized amount of
assessments specified therein from $38,000,000 to $40,000,000; and
d) Amend said Resolution of Intention No. 10421 to provide that bonds
shall be issued pursuant to the Improvement Bond Act of 1915 (Division 10 of
the Streets and Highways Code), the last installment of which shall mature
not to exceed nineteen (19) years from the second day of September next
succeeding twelve (12) months from their date.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Tuesday, the 1st day of July, 1986, at the
hour of 7 :30 o'clock p.m., in the regular meeting place of this Council,
City of Alameda, Council Chambers, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue, Alameda,
California, be, and the same are, hereby appointed and fixed as the time and
place when and where this Council will consider and finally determine
whether the public interest, convenience and necessity require the making
said changes and modifications and hear all protests and persons interested
therein.
William C. Norton, Director of Public Works, of the City of Alameda is
hereby designated as the person to answer inquiries regarding the protest
proceedings to be had herein, and may be contacted during regular office
hours at 2263 Santa Clara Avenue, Alameda, California, 94501, or by calling
(415) 522 -4100.
The City Clerk of the City of Alameda shall cause a copy of this
resolution to be published once in the Times Star, a newspaper of general
circulation published in the City of Alameda and the paper in which the
Notice of Improvement under said Resolution of Intention was published, and
to be mailed to all property owners whose assessments are proposed to be
increased, said publication to be at least ten (10) days before said day of
hearing and said mailing to be at least twenty (20) days prior to said
hearing date.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd of June, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
