Resolution 10933CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 109.5.5 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH PACIFIC BELL FOR EXTENSION OF EXISTING COMMUNICATION FACILITIES FOR MARINA VILLAGE PARKWAY, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84-3, P.W. NO. 3-86-6. WHEREAS, heretofore the Council of the City of Alameda has awarded a contract for the project, Marina Village Parkway, Assessment District 84-3, Project No 7, P.W. 3-86-6; and WHEREAS, in conjunction with this work, the City has requested that Pacific Bell extend its existing communication facilities by extending its common service connections on Marina Village Parkway between Challenger Drive and Patton Way, as illustrated on the drawing marked Exhibit B, attached to the Agreement; and WHEREAS, Pacific Bell shall provide the necessary conduit material and other facilities, and the Public Utilities Commission's Rule #16 provides that Pacific Bell shall be responsible for all work and/or materials; and WHEREAS, an agreement to provide these materials and services has been submitted to the City and the Council is fully informed and aware of the contents thereof; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the ,-: City of Alameda that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and each hereby is, authorized to execute and to attest to, respectively, on behalf of the City, an agreement with Pacific Bell to provide the , necessary materials and facilities for the extension of existing communication facilities for Marina Village Parkway, Assessment , District 84-3, P.W. 3-86-6. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 24th of June, 1986, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 4.
