AWARDING CONTRACT TO FOX CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
FOR RENOVATION OF MASTICK SENIOR CENTER LOBBY,
P.W. 4-86-10, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Renovation of Mastick
Senior Center Lobby in accordance with Specifications No. P.W.
4-86-10 approved May 20, 1986; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Fox Construction Company agreeing to perform said
work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of
$49,990.00; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Fox Construction Company is hereby
accepted, the contract for Renovation of Mastick Senior Center
Lobby is hereby awarded to said bidder, and the Mayor is hereby
r authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 1st of July, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Hanna - 1.
