AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PERSONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR FOR A POSITION OF FLEET
MECHANIC-CONTRACT
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that
the City Manager and the City Clerk be, and each hereby is,
authorized and directed to execute and to attest to, respectively,
on behalf of the City, a personal services agreement for the
position of Fleet Mechanic-Contract, to service the Bureau of
Electricity's vehicles at the Central Garage, and to service other
equipment as directed; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the term of said agreement
shall be for a period of one year at a rate step of Fleet Mechanic,
as determined by the City Manager, plus 16% to compensate for
receiving no City benefits.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th of July, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
