AWARDING CONTRACT TO PFISTER EXCAVATING, INC. FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF MAJOR STORM DRAIN SYSTEM, HARBOR
BAY PARKWAY TO TRACT NO. 5348, HARBOR BAY BUSINESS
PARK, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 84 -4, AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for the construction of Major
Storm Drain System, Harbor Bay Parkway to Tract No. 5348,
Harbor Bay Business Park, Assessment District 84 -4, in accord-
ance with Specifications No. P.W. 5- 86 -14, approved June 24,
1986; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Pfister Excavating, Inc. agreeing to perform said
work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of
$233,199.00; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Pfister Excavating, Inc. is hereby
accepted, the contract for construction of Major Storm Drain
System, Harbor Bay Parkway to Tract No. 5348, Harbor Bay Business
Park, Assessment District 84 -4, is hereby awarded to said bidder,
and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk
to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th_ of August, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Counctlmember Cortca, Fianna, Lucas., Monaef and President Diament -
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my build and affixed the
official seal of said City this 6th day of August, 1986.
