AUTHORIZING THE GENERAL LIABILITY RESERVE FUND
BE MAINTAINED IN AN AMOUNT NOT LESS THAN
$1,000,000 FOR THE PURPOSE OF SATISFYING
INSURANCE CLAIMS AGAINST THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City has joined the California Joint Powers
Insurance Authority and as a condition for membership the City is
required to maintain a reserve fund of two times the amount of
our self-insured retention;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that said Council hereby authorizes that the City of
Alameda General Liability Reserve Fund shall be maintained in an
amount not less than $1,000,000.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 28th of August, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Counciimembers Corica, Hanna, Monsef and President Diament
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmember Lucas - 1.
