Resolution 11008CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11008 APPROPRIATING $240,300.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND RESERVE AS A LOCAL MATCHING SHARE FOR HISTORIC PRESERVATION GRANT FUNDS WHEREAS, the City Council approved a resolution authorizing staff to apply for Historic Preservation Grant Funds for the structural rehabilitation of City Hall for the Seismic Safety Project from the California Park and Recreation Facilities Act of 1984; and WHEREAS, this application requires a commitment of local funds as a matching share to the state grant; and WHEREAS, the maximum amount of the State grant to be allocated could be $300,000.00, the balance of the project cost of $240,300.00 must be provided by the City of Alameda; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that said Council hereby approves the appropriation of $240,300.00 from the General Fund Reserve to provide a hatching share for the Historic Preservation Grant Funds for the structural rehabilitation of City Hall. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th of September, 1986, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
