AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH EAST BAY
MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT FOR WATER MAIN
EXTENSION INSTALLATION FOR PHASE II OF PATTON WAY
WHEREAS, Phase II of Patton Way requires the installation
of water mains and fire hydrants along Patton Way and Atlantic
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, East Bay Municipal Utility District has
prepared its proposal for a water main along Patton Way from
Eagle Avenue to Atlantic Avenue and along Atlantic Avenue from
Patton Way to Webster Street, providing for one fire hydrant on
Patton Way and one on Atlantic Avenue; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been submitted and the Council
is fully informed and aware of the contents thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the City Manager and City Clerk be, and each
hereby is, authorized to execute and to attest to, respectively,
on behalf of the City, a District - Installed Water Main Extension
Agreement with the East Bay Municipal Utility District in
connection with Phase II of Patton Way.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th of September, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
