AUTHORIZING EXTENSION OF BID OPENING DATE FOR
PRUNING OF CITY STREET TREES IN THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA
WHEREAS, at its meeting on August 19, 1986 this Council
adopted plans and specifications for the Pruning of City Street
Trees in the City of Alameda, P.W. 8-86-26; and
WHEREAS, no proposals were received for the performance
of this work; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that an extension of time
for the submittal of bids could result in several competitive
proposals;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that said Council hereby authorizes the extension of
the bid opening date for the Pruning of City Street Trees in the
City of Alameda, No. P.W. 8-86-26, to TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7, 1986.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th of September, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
