AWARDING CONTRACT TO ANDERO CONCRETE, INC. FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF WHEELCHAIR RAMPS, PHASE 5, NO. P.W.
8- 86 -28, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for the Construction of
Wheelchair Ramps, Phase 5 in accordance with Specifications No
P.W. 8- 86 -28, approved August 19, 1986; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Andero 'Concrete, Inc. agreeing to perform said base
bid work in accordance with said Specifications for the sum of
$21,137.50; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Andero Concrete, Inc. is hereby
accepted including the Add Alternate, the contract for the
construction of wheelchair ramps, Phase 5, is hereby awarded to
said bidder, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and
the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of
Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th of September, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
