ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
LEAF SWEEPER, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY
CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that
the Specifications for furnishing to the City of Alameda of one
(1) Leaf Sweeper for the Maintenance Services Division of Public
Works, No MSP 9-86-1, filed in the office of the City Clerk on
September 16, 1986, be and the same are hereby approved and
adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Alameda will receive sealed bids up to the hour 11:00 a.m. on
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2, 1986, for furnishing to the City of said
Leaf Sweeper in accordance with said Specifications. Bids must
be presented to the City Clerk in the City Hall, Alameda,
California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for Leaf Sweeper" or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the
provisions of the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder
who submits the lowest and bet bid. The right is reserved
to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the
Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in
accordance with the provisions of this resolution and of said
Specifications.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th of September, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
