AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH WESTIN
ENGINEERING TO PREPARE PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND
ESTIMATE FOR A NEW TELEPHONE SYSTEM,
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Council a
proposed Consulting Agreement among Westin Engineering, Inc. and
the Board of Education of the Alameda Unified School District and
the City of Alameda / Bureau of Electricity, for Westin's services
relating to the preparation of plans, specifications and estimate
for a new telephone system, and the Council is fully informed and
aware of the terms and conditions thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Alameda that said agreement be entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to execute, for and on behalf of the City of
Alameda /Bureau of Electricity, that certain agreement referred to
above with Westin Engineering, Inc. for its services relating
to the preparation of plans, specifications and estimate for a
new telephone system. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th of September, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
official seal of said City this 17th day of September, 1986.
