AUTHORIZING REPROGRAMMING OF UDAG LOAN REPAYMENT
FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENTS TO
AFFECTED GRANT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda's FY 1986-87 Use of Urban
Development Action Grant Loan Repayment funds includes an
allocation of $8,700 for Webster Street Banners; and
WHEREAS, the West Alameda Business Association has
requested that said funds be reallocated for promotional activities
in the Webster Street area; and
WHEREAS, the Alameda Main Street Project has demonstrated
capability to assist the West Alameda Business Association in the
organization and administration of said promotional activities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Alameda that the reprogramming of $8,700 in FY 1986-87 UDAG
Loan Repayment funds from Webster Street Banners to Webster
Street Promotional Activities is hereby authorized; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute an Amendment to the Grant Agreement with
the Alameda Main Street Project to include the administration of
said funds for Webster Street Promotional Activities.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7 of October, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Counctlmembers: Corica, Fianna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
