DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 13, 1986 THROUGH
OCTOBER 18, 1986 TO BE "CARE FOR ALAMEDA - KEEP IT
CLEAN" WEEK
WHEREAS, the Care For Alameda - Keep It Clean Committee
was formed in March, 1986, to coordinate the development and
cause the implementation of a range of cleanup activities and
anti - litter educational programs; and
WHEREAS, the Care For Alameda — Keep It Clean Committee
has planned a week -long schedule of events beginning Monday
October 13, 1986.
WHEREAS, all scheduled events focus on increasing citizen
awareness and participation in Alameda's keep -it -clean campaign;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the period from October 13, 1986 through October
18, 1986 be and is hereby declared "Care For Alameda —Keep It
Clean" Week.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7 of October, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers. Cortca, Fianna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
