AWARDING CONTRACT TO DARCY AND HARTY CONSTRUCTION CO.,
INC. FOR ENCINAL BOAT RAMP RESTROOM RECONSTRUCTION,
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for Alameda Public Access
Project, Alameda Park Boat Ramp Restroom Reconstruction in
accordance with Specifications No P.W. 7- 86 -21, approved
September 16, 1986, and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Darcy and Harty Construction Co., Inc. agreeing to
perform said work in accordance with said Specifications for the
sum of $117,720.00, and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Darcy and Harty Construction Co., Inc.
s hereby accepted, the contract for Alameda Public Access
Project, Alameda Park Boat Ramp Restroom Reconstruction (Encinal
Boat Ramp) is hereby awarded to said bidder in the amount of
$117,720.00, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and
the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of the City of
Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of November, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Counci:lmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament -5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
