AWARDING CONTRACT TO WILD HORSE ENGINEERING CORPORATION
FOR REPAIR OF PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE SIDEWALK, CURB,
GUTTER, AND DRIVEWAY, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda heretofore
published notice calling for bids for REPAIR OF PORTLAND CEMENT
CONCRETE SIDEWALK, CURB, GUTTER AND DRIVEWAY FOR FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 1987 in accordance with Specifications No. P.W.
9-86-35, approved October 7, 1986; and
WHEREAS, in response to said notice a sealed bid was
submitted by Wild Horse Engineering Corporation agreeing to
perform said work in accordance with said Specifications for the
sum of $74,686.00; and
WHEREAS, said firm is a responsible bidder and its
proposal is the lowest and best bid received;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the bid of Wild Horse Engineering Corporation is
hereby accepted, the contract for the Repair of Portland Cement
Concrete Sidewalk, Curb, Gutter and Driveway for Fiscal Year
Ending June 30, 1987 is hereby awarded to said bidder in the
amount of $74,686.00, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute, and the City Clerk to attest, said contract on behalf of
the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of November, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Counctlmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament -5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the
