AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT TO SERVICE
CONTRACT WITH GEORGE HILLS COMPANY, INC. FOR
LIABILITY CLAIMS ADJUSTING AND ADMINISTRATION
WHEREAS, on November 20, 1984, the City of Alameda
authorized execution of a service contract with George Hills
Company, Inc. for the purpose of providing supervision and
administration of the City's Liability Self- insurance Program;
WHEREAS, an amendment to said agreement has been prepared
and submitted to the Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the City Manager be and hereby is authorized to
execute, and the City Clerk to attest to, on behalf of the City,
an amendment to the agreement heretofore entered into between the
City of Alameda and George Hills Company, Inc. for general
liability claims adjusting and administration services, said
amendment to reflect an increase in the adjuster's hourly rate for
service and a one -year contract extension of said agreement, to
commence December 1, 1986 and terminate on November 30, 1987.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of November, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Counci:lmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef and President Diament -5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
