APPOINTING ENGINEER AND ATTORNEY FOR ANNEXATION
NO. 86-2 TO ISLAND CITY LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING
DISTRICT 84-2
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that
the City Engineer is designated as the Engineer-of-Work for
Annexation No. 86-2 of the Island City Landscaping and Lighting
District 84-2 for the purpose of preparing and filing with the
City Clerk a written report, in accordance with Section 22565 et
seq. of the California Streets and Highways Code; and the
Engineer is hereby directed to apportion assessments, in
accordance with the portions received from that improvement by
the lots, pieces, and parcels of land within the district; and
the Engineer is hereby directed to accomplish such preparation
and filing forthwith; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is
designated as the Attorney for the district for the purpose of
preparing all legal documents to accomplish the annexation and
levy of assessments under the California Streets and Highways
Code mentioned in Section 22500.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 4th of November, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Nonsef and President Diament -5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
