APPROVING LEASE OF NINETY -SIX SQUARE FEET OF PROPERTY
WITH MARINA VILLAGE ASSOCIATES FOR OFF - STREET
DIRECTIONAL SIGNS
WHEREAS, Alameda Marina Village Associates, a California
limited partnership, desires to lease from the City of Alameda for
the installation of one sign and landscaping certain City -owned
property, being a ninety -six square foot site in the vicinity of
Sherman Street and Buena Vistas Avenue and more particularly
described in the form of lease referred to hereinbelow; and
WHEREAS, a form of Lease containing the covenants, terms
and conditions to be entered into is on file in the office of the
City Clerk, and the City Council is informed of the contents
thereof; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that said Lease be
entered into;
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that the form of Lease referred to herein, and the
terms, conditions and covenants contained therein are hereby
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of
Alameda be, and she is hereby authorized to execute, for and on
behalf of the City, a Lease substantially in the form and
containing the terms and conditions and covenants as set out in
the lease referred to herein, and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by
the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting
assembled on the 2nd of December, 1986,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmembers Corica, Hanna, Lucas, Monsef
and President Diament - 5.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
